Last summer, FIC-Fighters participated in the first virtual clustering meeting of projects funded under the same call.
The discussions allowed to compare impacts and methodologies, as well as planning for future events to come.
We were glad to meet representatives from CircSyst, CisWEFE-NEX, CSSBoost and SOLSTICE
on this occasion and look forward to a fruitful collaboration with all sister projects throughout the next years.
On 16 January 2025, our project participated in a clustering workshop organised by the Circular Cities and Regions Initiative (CCRI), in cooperation with the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Research and Innovation (DG RTD).
FIC-Fighters is part of this initiative and we are grateful about the visibility the CCRI is offering our project.
FIC-FIGHTERS is a new EU-funded research project dedicated to developing sustainable waste management practices. The project aims to transform phosphogypsum (PG) waste and other industrial by-products into valuable raw materials for various industries, including paper, cement, batteries, fertilisers, and detergents.
