The FIC-Fighters PEPE Portal has a new feature!

May 22, 2026 | 0 comments

The PEPE Portal (the Phosphogypsum European Exploitation Portal developed by the FIC-Fighters project) is designed to identify, map, and characterise phosphogypsum (PG) stacks across Europe and beyond. It provides geolocation data and information on PG quantities, material characterisation, environmental impacts, radioactivity levels, critical raw material content, and other relevant parameters.

The portal has recently been updated with a new feature: a company mapping layer. This new layer identifies potential end-users, reagent producers, and industrial partners across Europe for products derived from phosphogypsum valorisation routes developed within the project.
This mapping will be continuously updated as the project progresses.

The portal is currently still in its demo phase, with the final version expected in October 2026. However, you can already explore it here: https://map.fic-fighters.eu/map#layers
