May 12, 2026 | 0 comments

Join our Monthly Networking Days!

We invite professionals working in soil remediation, industrial land-use planning, or the management of mining and industrial by-products like phosphogypsum to join our new Monthly Networking Days, an interactive event format to support collaboration and knowledge sharing on phosphogypsum (PG) valorisation and sustainable waste management.

What are the Monthly Networking Days?

The Monthly Networking Days are an extension of our FIC-Fighters Community of Practice (CoP), hosted on LinkedIn. These short, focused online events are designed to:

  • Facilitate peer learning through thematic discussions on the challenges and opportunities of PG valorisation.
  • Showcase project results from pilot sites and demonstrate real-world applications.
  • Encourage cross-sector engagement through case studies, open dialogue, and expert insights.
  • Support policy integration and sustainable practices for long-term impact.

When and where?

  • Frequency: Every third Thursday of the month (unless Thursday is a public holiday in our partners’ countries)
  • Time: 09:30–10:00 CET
  • Platform: Zoom (registration link will be provided via email and CoP group)
  • Break months: No sessions will be held in July, August, and December to accommodate summer and winter holidays

Next edition:
📍21 May 2026 | 09:30–10:00 CEST
💡 Topic: ‘Economic impacts of inaction: What are the consequences of leaving millions of tonnes of phosphogypsum sitting in ponds, and how does that compare to the valorisation route we are developing in FIC-Fighters?’ by Arditec.

Join us for the next session and become an active part of the FIC-Fighters Community of Practice!
